Flowers and herbs tucked in near spine, with discolourment of inner margins. Small wormholes, without loss of text, in title and three following leaves. Wormhole in pp. 53-91, loss of text in some pages. Small wormhole in margin pp. 803-(66). Paper repairs in margins of pp. 115, 209 and 253. Stain in lower margin p. 490. Worn and stained contemporary vellum, spine with hand-written title, boards frayed at outer edges. Older owner’s signatures by Petrus PrŸtz and Nauclercq on title, and by Henri Chignet, dated 1642, on inside of front board. From the library of L. F. Rääf at Forsnäs, and with its exlibris. Graesse VI, 166. First published in 1583, and with corrections by Thomas Dempster in 1589 and then in several editions until the final edition 1743.
