An anthology of excerpts from different travel books and magazines. Partly curiously arranged -one finds an account of the Labyrinth of Crete under the heading “Phenomena of Nature” and one of a Swedish iron mine under “Works of Art”. Other headings are “Personal adventures”, Ruined cities”, Holy Land, &c”.
