Owner’s signatur and library stamp of Folke Schippel. Fifth edition of the German translation by Georgios Heinius of Matthew Mead’s (1630?-1699) classic, “The Almost Christian discovered...”(1662). A swedish translation was published in 1746, “Så när, eller nästan en christen; thet är en tractat hwarvtinnan en falsk bekännare eller sken- och munn- christen egenteligen ransakad, pröfwad och förkastad, och theremot til en sann christendom troligen wist warder”.
