Octavo in original blue wrappers with tables and 6 folding maps in rear pocket and separate pamphlet "Papers relating to the Report of the Royal Commission.1933" in self wrappers, laid-in. O' Dea 2089 and 2091A. Presented by the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs to Parliament, by Command of His Majesty. The brief paper contains an exchange of telegrams between Mr. Alderdice, the Prime Minister of Newfoundland, and Mr. Thomas, Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs while the main report, Lord Amulree - chairman, was "To examine into the future of Newfoundland and in partucular to report on the financial situation and prospects therin". The recommendations of this commission led to the creation of the Commission of Government in 1934.
