Please note that the 1923 date sometimes cited refers to the publication of the first volume in the series, Islamische Bucheinbände. 27 subtly beautiful mounted plates in colors and gold (including cover illustration) & 48 monochrome illustrations. xi + 63 pp. + 43 plate pages. Dark green cloth with original cover bearing mounted color plate bound in. 34.3 x 24.8 cm. Paper cover slightly chipped at edges and rebacked, with some rippling as a consequence. Nevertheless, a nice, clean copy.
