List of the Country Bankers, with the Bankers they draw on in London. List of Public Notaries. List of London and Country Newspapers, with the Places and Days of Publication. Lists of Army and Navy Agents, Directors and Fire and Life Insurance Offices. Lists of the London, West India, & East India Dock Companies, Foreign Ministers, &c. &c. List of the Country Bankers, Alphabetically Arranged, General Information Relating to the Post-Office, Including the Last Rates of Postage, Regulations of the Twopenny Post-Office, &c. Hardcover. Binding repaired. Rebacked with most of the original spine label reapplied, some discolouration on boards from previous tape. Recent bookplate removed but with "E. Emery London" being the original owner. A few stains and spots, endpapers foxed. Only copies in COPAC were from the British Library and V&A Libraries. There are very few pre-1850 London Directories available.
