New York The Roycrofters 1922, 14 volumes. 22 cm. Memorial Edition. Brown cloth hardcover with lovely impressed front boards, subtly coloured. Gilt fore edge. Small tears and stains. Volume one is the most well-loved and is signed by Elbert Hubbard II on the title page. It also has its frontispiece creased, and fourth plate missing; Volume four also has a creased frontispiece, and there is a bookplate in volumes nine, twelve & thirteen. Some edges are gently worn. As expected of a Roycroft publication, this is an elegant set with beautiful fonts, layouts and detailed artistry. "His Mintage of Wisdom coined from a Life of Love, Laughter, and Work, lovingly gathered by Elbert Hubbard II and made into Goodly Volumes by The Roycrofters at their Shops, which are at East Aurora, New York, and issued as a Memorial Edition." Includes Pamphlets, Olympians, Time and Chance, Preachments, the Elect, Fra Elbertus, On My Way, Modern Business, Philistia, Hundred Point-Men, The Man of Sorrows, An American Bible, the Legacy, Short Stories and Index.
