Tommasini as a Christmas hand-out for members of the Roxburghe Club of San Francisco. The material is an excerpt from William Hazlitt's essay, which first appeared in London Magazine, Sept., 1820 and was reprinted in his two-volume essay collection, "The Plain Speaker," in 1826.
