Tipped in are two fold-out facsimiles, one being a reproduction of the original proclamation's manuscript; the other a reproduction of the only known printed copy. A fine copy in blue cloth. The transcript of Governor Bennett Riley's, "Uncourteous and Disrespectful" proclamation of 1849, along with explanatory notes by John B. Goodman III.
