Jackson as well as Boit's own drawings. Extensive notes. Printed in red and black. White cloth. A fine copy with pictorial dust jacket (jacket slightly foxed). John Boit was the nineteen year old master of the sloop Union, whose circumnavigation of the globe was preparatory to a well-financed New England fur-trading expedition to the Pacific Northwest and China. His journal of that voyage forms the basis of this attractively printed and designed book.
