Spine label slightly darkened, else a very fine copy with slightly worn slipcase. An account of early steamship travel from the East Coast to the West, compiled from early diaries, newspapers, and the log of the "California." This work is the first authentic account of the "California's" journey and contains the only accurate list of passengers. [Kurutz: 51].
