Gray wrappers printed in black. Rear wrapper somewhat faded. A fine copy. The primary report, covering nearly one hundred pages, is "Mineral Resources of Shasta County" by Charles Volney Averill. The large folding map is, "Map of Shasta County Showing Locations of Principal Mineral Deposits," produced to accompany Averill's report. Averill covers all the various mineral deposits of the county as well as the various mines and mining companies in operation within the county. The tables give statistical information on the mineral resources and the mines (location, ownership, type, etc.).
