Slight scuffing to spine, but a very fine copy with original printed blue wrappers bound in. "A contribution to the exhibit of Woman's Work, in the Louisiana State Department, at the World's Industrial and Cotton Centennial Exposition, New Orleans, LA., 1884-85." Forty-nine biographical sketches of Louisiana's Governors during the French Dominion (1697-1763); the Spanish Dominion (1767-1801), and the American Dominion (1804-1881). Incidental to the biographical section is a catalogue of historic relics and antiquities in the Louisiana State Department of the Exposition.
