A very fine copy. An extremely important auction sale catalogue of the most extensive private collection of clipper ship cars ever assembled. These elaborate lithographed cards, beginning about 1853, advertised to firms wishing to transport equipment and supplies primarily to California. They are very, very rare and are seldom offered. This catalogue illustrates all 415 cards being offered. It has become the primary reference on the subject. Price list included.
