Farquhar. 240pp. Illustrations, facsimile sketches, etc. Cloth-backed pictorial boards, paper spine label. A very fine copy. Humorous sketches of California by John Phoenix or John Squibob, the pen names of U.S. Lieutenant George H. Derby.
