One plate. ¶ The first appearances in print of five Hawthorne stories: “The New Adam and Eve”; “Egotism; or, The Bosom Serpent”; “The Procession of Life”; “The Celestial Railroad”; and “Buds and Bird-Voices.” Also includes contributions from Whittier, Bancroft and O. A. Brownson. Calf rubbed and a little sunned; a very good copy.
