Wright III, 1965 for the issue in one volume. 2 vols, 8vo, original blue cloth (spines slightly faded), gilt decorations and lettering. Color frontis in each volume and 73 plates. ¶ A novel that draws on Ford’s extensive historical knowledge. BAL notes that ads listed this illustrated edition December 16, 1899. Ink signature dated December 25, 1899 on each front paste-down. Fine copy.
