Vankleek Hill [ON]: A. W. Otto, Book and Job Printer, 1888. First edition. Watters, page 91. 8vo, original maroon cloth, gilt lettering. Two woodcut portraits, woodcut vignettes. ¶ The first 91 pages contain the posthumously-published writings of an Irish immigrant; Higginson died in 1884 at the age of 90. The second half of this book, which has a separate title page but continuous pagination, contains the “Literary Works” of his son, T. H. Higginson, who wrote under the pseudonym “Persolus.” Spine somewaht faded; fine copy of a scarce and unusual imprint.
