NCBEL III, 629; Colebeck Collection, page 354, which notes that this edition was limited to 500 copies. 8vo, original dark blue cloth, gilt rules and lettering. ¶ The third book of poetry by the poet from Birmingham and friend to Norman Gale and Richard Le Gallienne. Hayes earned a spot in volume eight of Miles The Poets and the Poetry of the Century, where John Ashcroft Noble has written a fine introduction to his work. Presentation copy to Showell Rogers, inscribed on the title page “With the Author's Kind Regards." Rogers has signed his name on the verso of the front free endpaper. Cloth slightly worn; very good copy.
