London: Hurst and Blackett, 1859. First English edition. Sadleir 2027; Wolff 5749; NCBEL III, 959. 3 vols, 8vo, original blind-stamped green cloth, gilt lettering. Frontispiece in each volume. ¶ An adventure story set in Florida about Oceola, the chief of the Seminoles, with a great deal of description of Florida flora and fauna. Volume 1 rebacked preserving the original spine, but with some loss at the lettering; edges a little rubbed; very good copy.
