San Francisco: David Magee, Antiquarian Books, [1969]. First edition, one of 625 copies printed by Robert Grabhorn and Andrew Hoyem. 3 vols, 4to, decorated wrappers. Illustrated. ¶ One of the most attractive and distinguished catalogues ever produced by an American antiquarian bookseller. Though individually priced, David Magee’s collection of Victoriana sold en bloc just as the catalogues were being issued. The volumes are prefaced by Gordon Ray, Robert Lee Wolff and Robert Metzdorf, respectively. Spines a little faded; very good copy.
