Half-title present. ¶ A follow up to Lord Lyttleton’s first Considerations . . ., published earlier the same year, about the state of British foreign affairs. Lyttleton complains that the recently-signed peace treaty agreed to by Great Britain and Spain, which he maintains will leave English shipping in the West Indies vulnerable to Spanish searches and seizures, to the detriment of commerce. Terminal leaves soiled; some light foxing; very good copy. enclosed in a cloth slipcase.
