NCBEL III, 484; Prideaux, pages 6-11. 12mo, original reddish-brown cloth, gilt lettering. ¶ Six plays by the famous Spanish playwright Calderon (1600-1681). Fitzgerald's translations are considered today among the best versions in English, though they were not well received at the time of publication. Edges slightly rubbed; spine a little faded; very good copy.
