Errata leaf in volume two. ¶ An important work by a dissenter and celebrated preacher, James Foster (1697-1753). Included are chapters on self-denial, education, the duties of children, wives and parents, benevolence, masters and servants, civil government, etc. Spines somewhat rubbed; hinges starting, but sound; very nice copy.
