First edition. 8vo, modern half calf period style, marbledpaper sides, red label, gilt rules and lettering. ¶ The beginning of a treatise on natural religion which Balguy (1716-1795), a clergyman in the Church of England, intended as a response to Hume's Dialogues on Natural Religion (1779). This was the only part he completed. Fine copy.
