Lacking A1 - the half-title and imprimatur leaf. ¶ A sermon of somewhat disguised defenses of Whiggism. Fowler's (1632-1714) anti-Catholic position made him very unpopular in the eyes of James II who prosecuted him for "uncanonical practices" (DNB). First and final leaves somewhat soiled; very good copy.
