Rivington, 1745. 8vo, contemporary speckled calf, gilt rules, lettering + decorations. ¶ Dodwell (1709-1785) was an ardent controversialist who was awarded his Doctor of Divinity by Oxford for his religious writings. Signature of John Wyndham 1764 on front pastedown. Spine slightly worn; very good copy.
