Biography of the fourth Portuguese viceroy in Goa. (First edition of this work is from Lisbon, 1651.) Includes portraits of Juan de Castro, Coge Cofar, and Joao Mascarenhas, a plan of the Fortaleza de Diu, and a biography of the book's author.
