México, Universidad Iberoamericana, 2002, 88p b/w plates, Indices, bibl., b/w pict. boards, d.j 24X33.5cm Guillermo Kahlo (Wilhelm Külo, Germany 1872-Mexico, 1941), the leading architectural photographer, was commissioned by Roberto Bocker, head of Casa Bocker, to create a photographic album of the main buildings, plazas, parks and avenues of Mexico city at the turn of the century. The book is a reproduction of the original album, including texts done by Kahlo (father of Frida), describing each site. An important historic source for Mexico city a few years before the Revolution war started as no other original album of this series has been located. LIMITED EDITION OF 500.
