This outstanding examples of chromolithographic art appeared framed in three Bloomingdale's department stores during the 1978 Christmas season selling "briskly" at $79.95 each. Fortune 500 firms gave them away as executive gifts, and in 1979 the Wall Street Journal published a front page article about their explosive growth in popularity.
