Laid in is a 1-page TLS from Wall, in part about this book: "A new vista on the life of General Lee unfolded itself to me." Not in Nevins or Broadfoot. Small 4to. 36 leaves with engravings by the author/artist, rectos only. Each engraving, most colored, presents a scene from Lee's life. Green boards (upper joint worn), paper label on upper board.
