Berlin Petropolis (early 20th c.) Oblong octavo. 10 ff., including covers. Children's story, in Russian, of a naughty boy who knocks things down, spills things, climbs over fences, and kicks a ball into another boy's face. In one scene he smokes a cigarette and tries to offer it to the dog. In the end, he offers water lilies to a girl, the first nice deed he has ever performed. With brilliantly colored illustrations and one in black and white. Fragile binding is loose but still holding with a couple of small splits along spine, small chip to top of spine, light wear to extremities, else near fine in stiff paper covers. (Russian).
