The story was bought by Paramount in 1932 and was adapted twice for film as "The Story of Temple Drake." As with other titles from this era, copies of this book are difficult to obtain in fine condition. This is a very fine copy in a very fine dust wrapper, which shows a couple of minor areas of restoration. (Petersen A8.2)
