GUTHRIE, JAMES J.

Of Joy, and Other Devices.

(Flansham, Sussex Pear Tree Press 1932) Quarto. (14) ff. One of 100 copies, signed by Guthrie. A collection of Gurthie's verses, printed in colors and embellished with delicately wrought etched devices. Laid in is a card with a printing of the poem "Of Joy" which varies in color from the version that appears in the book. The card bears an inscription by Guthrie to a family member, signed "Jimmy". Corded into parchment covered boards with printed color cover label, and with original blue heavy paper d/w, which shows a bit of soiling. Otherwise, covers bright, and a very fine copy.
