Ecce Littera. Volume I. The ABCDarium of Clifford L. Helbert.
Milwaukee Helbert, Clifford L. 1987 (30)pp, accordion-fold. One of a "limited number of copies" with the letters in a calligraphic type called "Legend," created by F.H.E. Schneidler for Bauer Types in 1937. Running between the upper and lower case letters is a quotation on type by J.H. Mason, printed in brown. The publication celebrates the 50th anniversary of the typeface. No other volumes of "Ecce Littera" were ever published. Fine in green printed boards. (2 1/16 by 1 9/16; 53x38mm.).
