The Auto-biography of Luke Hansard, written in 1817.

Wakefield Fleece Press 1990 Oblong octavo. 156 pp. One of 250 copies. Illustrated with numerous wood engraved vignettes by John Lawrence, and with a single signed print by Lawrence is included in a pocket in the rear pastedown. Hansard's printing firm was the printer to Parliament during the early 19th century, and his chronicle, which was printed in 1817 in two copies for his sons, is here edited with an Introduction by Robin Myers. Extremely fine in cloth backed boards with patterns after designs by John Lawrence, housed in original cloth slipcase. (Rogerson 25).
