Lansingburgh Wm. Disturnell 1820 i-xiii, 256 pp. Contains sixteen wood engravings or type metal cuts, each with a caption. Adomeit records eleven copies. In original full brown leather binding, spine decorated with five gilt triple rules; in the five compartments lie two urns, crossed feathers, and "Bible" in gilt. Some worming with moderate wear to spine. The first Lansingburgh edition, which is slightly taller and wider than Adomeit's recorded dimesions. Owner's signature on endpaper. (Adomeit A45). (2 by 1 1/4; 51x32mm.). (Thumb Bible).
