HISTORY OF THE BIBLE.
New London W. & J. Bolles 1831 x, 192 pp. Contains twenty-four wood engravings with captions. Thesecuts appear to be similar to Adomeit A70, copied from the Phinney editions, and used in the same places. Bound in the orginal brown leather, with four double rules. Bottom rules covered by repair work to hinges and lower spine; a couple of small knicks to panels and spine; light spotting throughout; previous owner's signatures on endpapers (in pencil). Altogether a nice copy of this first New London Bolles edition. (Adomeit A71). (2 by 1 3/4; 51x44mm.). (Thumb Bible).
