A response to America's bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II, the essay was first published in Mexico just days after the bombings. It was reprinted in this volume, designed by G.M. Echaniz, nineteen years later. In full tan leather, ornately gilt-stamped on the front cover and in blind on the back. Very fine. (1 7/8 by 1 1/2; 49x37mm.).
