Compiled by the adviser to the Russian collection at Yale and dealing primarily with first editions of books on Alaska before the end of the Russian period, this volume represents the first attempt at "a chronological, annotated, and critical listing of publications in all major languages." Includes two title pages, one in Russian and the other in English. In cloth boards with blind-stamped design on cover and title in gilt on spine. Dust jacket has a three-quarter inch closed tear at top as well as smaller tears at spine head. Small trimming defect to the first page of the Preface. Interior clean and bright.
