Sussex Saint Dominic's Press (c. 1925) Small octavo. 41 pp. With three wood engravings by Gill, including a title-page illustration of a sculpture in progress. The preface, a meditation on God, art, and ultimate beauty, comprises the first half of the book, and is followed by the essay on sculpture. Both essays are reprints of earlier versions, with revisions by the author. In beige linen boards, with the title-page illustration and text reprinted on the front cover. Boards show slight soiling at the edges and spine, else a fine copy.
