NINETEENTH CENTURY ENGLISH PATENT WITH STAMPS.

A patent printed on a single 30 by 20-inch sheet. The pre-printed text, which is in script, is headed, "Victoria by the Grace of God," and confers a patent to a Charles John Galloway of the Knott Hill Iron Works for "Improvements in Steam Boilers." Includes three patent stamps affixed to the upper left corner, one printed in red and the others embossed on blue paper. The sheet is mounted on a cardboard backing and framed. Slight wrinkling, a bit of soiling to bottom margin, a few pencil notations, and slight discoloration along previous fold lines. A nice example of an intriguing piece of Victorian-era government printing.
