The Dream of the Rood: Taken from the Ninth Century Anglo-Saxon.

(Flemington, NJ St. Teresa's Press 1966) Small quarto. 14pp. One of 150 copies. With a lovely hand-painted title page and decorative initials modeled after the Book of Kells. Letterpress printed in Solemnis and Palatino Italic on handmade English paper. A short-lived and very fine small press, St. Teresa's flourished in a cloistered monastery in the 1960s and early 1970s, producing fewer than a dozen superbly printed books. This volume was bound by hand at the press in quarter brown leather and handmade textured-paper boards, gilt-titled on the front cover. Slight rubbing at foot of spine, else very fine.
