Naples Fran. Scafa (c. 1834) Oblong small quarto. (14) ff. A later edition, with a watermark that shows the date 1834. Contains an illustrated title-page and thirteen examples of various alphabets and letter forms, some of which are also illustrated with images of animals. Bound in decorated wrappers, which are chipped and torn at the edges, with some paper loss, and taped at the spine. Internally clean and bright. A notable example of an Italian writing book. (Morison 33).
