[GOREY, EDWARD].

Signed Atlantic Theater Company Poster.

Barnstable, MA c. 1970 1 of 60, signed and numbered by Edward Gorey. Poster measures 16.5 by 11 inches and features a large central illustration by Gorey. An advertisement for the Atlantic Theater Company's production of Oscar Wilde's "The Importance of Being Earnest." The illustration and text are in white against a black background, with the exception of the company's logo, "atc," which is printed in purple. It appears that Gorey did the logo and all the lettering on the poster along with the illustration. The poster is in a matching 19 by 13 inch black wood frame, unmatted. Frame lightly nicked; poster in fine condition with just a touch of sunning to the edges. (Not in Toledano).
