Both volumes abundantly illustrated with merchant, printer, and collectors' stamps and insignia. Volume II is a supplement issued thirty-five years after volume I. Both are bound in olive green cloth gilt lettered on the covers and spines. Volume I with a plain paper dustwrapper. Crease to fore-corner of volume I binding, wrapper a bit edgeworn and foxed, and with a small portion missing at spine foot. Overall, a near fine set of this important reference resource.
