Paris Georges Blaizot and Claude Guérin 1972-1974 Six quarto volumes, variously paginated. A catalogue of Continental illustrated and finely bound books from the fifteenth through the twentieth centuries. Profusely illustrated with full-page photographic reproductions in both color and black and white, the color plates being tipped-in. With an introuduction by Jacques Guignard. One of the six volumes, unillustrated, is an index of seventeenth century binders with bibliographical information on each binder's work. The set is in original blue-green cloth, gilt lettered on the front covers. Some sunning to spines, else a fine set.
