(c. 1856) (14) pieces, comprised of: eight pieces of blank paper, three handwritten notes dated 1858 and 1856, a print of a bouquet of flowers, a religious print of an angel and a child, and a board covered with paper printed with the image of a woman with a book gazing out a window. Housed in a highly decorated embossed paper box with a mirror on the inside of the lid, bordered with an gold design. The top cover is decorated with a spray of hand-painted, embossed flowers in pink, blue, purple, and gold, bordered with rich spirals of gold and a border of blue flowers. One can imagine that this elaborately decorated box might have held items that were dear to its owner's heart. (6 by 4; 200x100mm).
