Good Against the Nightmare.
(St. John's, Newfoundland Walking Bird Press 2008) One of fifty copies. Subtitled "An Antephialtic Alphabet", this miniature book was one of the distinguished award winners at the 2009 Miniature Book Society Conclave. Printed by Tara Bryan and Duncan Major in leporello format using large wood types for the letters. These are then "plagued" by words in Gill Sans, and engravings culled from Victorian era magazines. A well-executed private press miniature. As new in gilt decorated cloth covers, housed in a slipcase with a ribbon pull. (2 5/8 by 2; 66x52 mm).
