(Portugal c. 1790) 8pp. An intricately-embroidered miniature prayer book containing devotions dedicated to the four evangelists. The front cover bears the design of a flower on a stalk, and the rear cover has a central floral design. The covers have been mbroidered with metallic thread, blue fabric, and red glass beads. Some of the embroidery has come unstitched, especially on the rear cover, but the wear is consistent with the book's age and use. Some wear and discoloration to page edges, else fine.
